Apidis SAS (Apiculture Production Innovation Distribution) is a family business specialized in the production, packing, and marketing of select honeys, bee products, and honey products.
Since 1890, honey has been part of the Perronneau family's life. While the sixth generation is still in its infancy, the fifth is flying solo within the family hive.
With 30,000 to 60,000 worker bees per hive and 4,000 hives, including 1,000 producing organic honey, Gabriel Perronneau jokingly claimed to be “the largest employer in France”! In any case, APIDIS is one of the largest honey producers in France, with 1200 to 1300 tons per year.
