Youssef El Gatou is a French pastry chef, instructor, and Vice President of the Bakery and Pastry Federation. A Guinness World Record holder and member of the Académie Culinaire de France, he has promoted French pastry for over 15 years, both nationally and abroad. Trained at prestigious institutions like Ladurée, he became a leading international trainer before returning to teach at Ferrandi Paris and other top schools. In 2016, he founded La Maison Héloïse in Argenteuil, blending tradition and innovation. In 2025, he created the world’s longest strawberry cake, uniting professionals and volunteers. He plays a key institutional role across Île-de-France and regularly organizes major industry events. Deeply committed to education and solidarity, he leads pastry workshops for children and vulnerable groups. His excellence has earned him numerous awards, including top rankings in croissant, chocolate bread, and galette competitions.
