Mario Marini's professional career has always unfolded on two fronts: that of public administrator and the gastronomic one. What unites these apparently distant areas is the desire to create synergy for the valorization of its territory.
Graduated in Public Relations and with a Master's degree in Marketing and Business Communication, Mario was councilor for Personnel, Technological Innovation and Tourism during two different administrations in Parma. Today, within the staff of the Municipality of his city, he has been appointed Consultant for Territorial Marketing and City branding.
Among his work experiences, also that one of Retail manager for Parmacotto, one of the most important Italian delicatessen companies.
After graduating from ALMA, of which he is now Ambassador, he created the "Il cielo di Strela" farmhouse on the hills of Parma, a silent context of nature and good food, and then returned to the city accepting the task of managing the historic venue "La corale Verdi", a bistro which at the entrance bears the slogan "chatter and small kitchen" and which presents itself as a cultural, gastronomic and social point of reference in the province of Parma.
He travels the world to tell what Italian cuisine is, the respect and valorization of its products and to convey the visceral passion for food and conviviality of those born in the Italian Food Valley.
